In the present work we compare constant strain rate tensile tests, miniature tensile creep tests and anisothermal out of phase thermo mechanical fatigue tests on precisely oriented [001] specimens. Emphasis is placed on analysing how high temperature plasticity manifests itself in these three types of tests, which are all affected by elementary micro creep processes. Moreover, the effect of γ' particle size (at constant γ' volume fraction) receives attention.
