The digital transformation is revolutionizing materials science and technology, enabling precise prediction of material properties, and fostering sustainable applications through comprehensive CO₂ footprint assessments. The assessment of CO₂ footprints (PCFs) directly supports sustainability use cases by enabling efficient, accurate, and scalable evaluation of environmental impact throughout the material lifecycle. Through practical use cases, we demonstrate how digital assessments and simulations accelerate material development, conserve resources, and optimize environmental performance. Powered by digital innovations, we create and disseminate materials knowledge to ensure safe, sustainable, and cost-efficient Schaeffler products.
