For effective and sustainable battery recycling methods, particularly for Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, the thermodynamic and kinetic analyses of their materials are crucial. This initial study explores the recovery of Lithium (Li) by using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy with pristine LiFePO4 cathode active materials.
