X-ray micro computed tomography provides unique insights into the 3D morphology of hydrogen-induced damage in metals. This information can be related to mechanical data or the hydrogen absorption of the specimen, forming a basis for future non-destructive inspection approaches of components used in hydrogen-containing environments.
