Thermoplastic foam injection molding is a proven process that plays a crucial role in modern manufacturing by saving material and producing large, robust parts. However, a common challenge is the limited surface quality, which can restrict its application in various product areas. To tackle these surface issues, we outline innovative approaches that broaden the process's applicability to a wider range of products. Our goal is to present effective strategies that enhance thermoplastic foam injection molding for more demanding applications.
