As part of the lecture, an innovative laser projector box, which is completely made of aluminium foam, will be presented. This solution brings several advantages if compared with traditional casing: it reduces the weight of the projector, improves heat dissipation, improves the protection against electromagnetic radiation, enables simple design with high rigidity, reduces the number of parts, makes less demands on assembly and CNC machining and consequently reduces manufacturing costs. In addition, it enables a cool original design, which was awarded the IF design award 2023. The cabinets are mass-produced on the basis of a license granted for the innovative foaming technology.
