The new Calphad Optimizer in FactSage makes the optimization step of a Calphad assessment easy by providing the Calphadian with extensive feedback to control the optimization, and a modern and accessible user interface. Going beyond the established workflows of thermodynamic assessments, it offers an intuitive way of creating optimizations for beginners as well as established Calphadians.
