The present research investigates the anodization of vanadium plates, a material extensively studied due to its versatile characterization and oxidation states. As an innovation, molybdenum, a material with cytotoxicity and a structure similar to vanadium, will be used as a dopant. This study aims to analyze the alterations in ionic currents through the anodic oxide on vanadium and the resulting electrostatic field. Finally, the plates will be characterized using Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy to identify their structural, optical, and morphological properties. Noteworthy findings include the predominant formation of vanadium dioxide (with some regions suggesting the presence of vanadium (V) oxide) in nanowire structures, which could enhance conductivity in electronic circuits, promoting its use as a smart material.
