This work presents the development of LIBS procedure employing reduced pressure during measurement, which changed the plasma dynamics resulting in narrower peaks with enhanced intensity. The applicability of this concept is demonstrated for analytes that are notoriously difficult to measure with LIBS, in particular non-metals such as Fluorine and Oxygen.
