We have demonstrated ultrafast laser processing of glass materials by using our hand-made Yb-doped fiber laser system with wide-range variable parameters, like pulse duration from 400 fs to 400 ps by three digits toward a new ICT data-driven active laser processing technology. In our goal, real-time monitoring data, such as laser-induced temperature and stress, are delivered to AI system for high-speed optimization. Then, the optimized laser parameters are transferred to a laser system. To follow the optimized ones instantly, we are developing new laser technologies with wide-range variable parameters as well as high-speed modulation. In the present work, the evaluation of ablation efficiency under 450 conditions was done for several hours, resulting in the 2D mapping of ablation efficiency vs. pulse duration and peak fluence for several industrial glasses.
