DICE is a data platform operated by NIMS that provides data management functions to contribute to basic research in materials science and engineering [1], which has been renewed on public cloud with additional functions and released to the public in January 2023 [2]. In this release, the use case for creating and storing data by a new system named RDE has been firstly provided, in which data output by measuring instruments can be converted into a form that is easy to utilize and stored. We are supporting the data management for various measurement and testing methods as examples of this use case, resulting in the integration of know-how with the aim to be applied to various research projects in common and fed back to the community. DICE continues its efforts to release new functions in future, which enable users to operate and utilize various kinds of dataset exported from RDE and MatNavi [3], the world's largest database of material properties, with machine learning environments.
