Laser micro- and nano texturing has emerged as a promising tool for the development of a variety of complex functional surfaces that can provide impressive superhydrophobic, antifouling, antireflective, antibacterial, drag reduction properties. In this work, advanced femtosecond beam manipulation is employed to explore the possibilities of laser texturing on thin films. Double pulse irradiation and DLIP are employed to fabricate structures of high resolution and regularity demonstrated over large area. The produced results could pave the way for developing applications in field such as metasurfaces, optical elements and plasmonic devises.
