In this work, a novel, fully automated, method based on plasma assisted vapor generation (PAVG) as an alternative and more efficient sample introduction technique for Os determination in ICP-MS/MS will be presented. High vapor generation efficiency was achieved in oxidative conditions, which in combination with the detection by ICP-MS/MS, results in a high sensitive methodology for the determination of Os at natural levels in different samples.
