Shiozawa and density-specific Shiozawa diagrams are constructed for an enhanced assessment of the fatigue damage tolerance and light weight potential of additively manufactured alloys. Shiozawa diagram enables a “defect-based” representation of the fatigue behavior, while specific Shiozawa diagram also takes into consideration the specific density of the alloy.
