This research proposes a sustainable, eco-friendly novel method for recovering glass, silicon and metals with the required purity from thick-film photovoltaic panels, to convert the extracted materials that are 3D printable, into the raw feedstock for 3D printing of photovoltaic panels on flexible substrates. The proposed research aims at the closed-loop recycling of materials and near-zero carbon footprint converting recycling waste into functional photovoltaic cells.
