MSE 2022 - Materials Science Engineering

Use the MSE Congress for personal and scientific exchange. 56. Metallographie-Tagung - Materialographie

The conference program of the 56^th Metallography Conference will be enriched by a series of invited plenary lectures presented by top-class speakers.

A special highlight of the meeting will be the plenary lecture by Matthias Maurer, ESA astronaut, who recently spent half a year on the ISS and was even allowed to complete a "space walk". In a broader sense, he has actually also completed metallographic experiments in space and will report on this in his talk. The program for the conference is already online.

DGM-Tag 2022

After two years, this year's DGM-Tag will finally take place again locally in Darmstadt on 26 September 2022.

DGM members will meet with the a new generation of materials scientists, exchange ideas and build new networks. Of course, we also offer our members the opportunity to participate online and to cast their votes on the elections.

We are pleased to be able to present the awards to the prize winners in 2022 again in the context of the DGM-Tag.

4^th European Symposium on Superalloys and their Applications

Around research and progress in Ni- and Co-based superalloys, expert lectures and symposia from science and industry invite further education and mutual exchange.
 
The spectrum of topics is diverse, ranging from contributions of classical materials science investigations to forward-looking topics such as sustainability, circular economy, AI, simulations, and new nanomechanical processes. An honorary symposium will recognize outstanding scientific contributions to the microstructure and deformation mechanisms of superalloys. The conference program is available online!
