For the "DGM-Tag" on 26 November 2022, Prof. Dr. Birgit Skrotzki and Prof. Dr. Martin Heilmaier were elected as the new presidents, respectively, of the German Materials Society (DGM). 7th European Symposium on Biomaterials and Related Areas

The BioMat Conference is a European symposium for biomaterials and related fields. From 03 to 04 May 2023, the hybrid event will take place in the cultural city of Weimar as well as online. The three main topics, Structure and Properties of Biomaterials, Biological Response to Biomaterials, and Biomaterials Applications, cover biomaterials from their properties to current applications in the field of medicine and industry. Since 01 November 2022, you can submit your contribution - oral presentation, oral poster, and poster - for the 2nd  DisoMAT. The hybrid conference "Disordered Materials 2023" will address the latest developments in the field of disordered materials in optics and photonics. From 19 - 21 June 2023, you can exchange ideas and network with experts from the scientific fields of biology, chemistry, physics, and materials science on this topic in Plankstetten, Bavaria. Information about the conference, ticket prices, and the first confirmed plenary lectures can now be found online.
