Data management, as well as multiscale and multiphysics modelling are key skills required by companies recruiting “Materials science” engineers today [1-3]. In this context, it has been proposed to develop a package of technical resources to support educators in materials data management teaching and related topics (material informatics, data-driven sciences, integrated computational materials engineering…). The teaching resources package is composed of a serie of lecture units and different databases integrated into the Ansys Granta MI data management platform [4-5]. As a first step, the development of these resources will be presented and discussed. Then as a second step, the deployement and the usage of data management platform within numerical modelling projects, in the frame of a master degree in Grenoble University, will be detailled and analyzed [6]. Finally, we will discuss the learning outcomes for the students, how students experienced this implementation and what can be improved for next year.
