High Cycle Fatigue tests were performed at 700 °C, 80 Hz and with a stress ratio of 0.05 on Laser Metal Deposited (LMD) Waspaloy with the maximum applied stress ranges from 57 % to 90 % of the Yield Stress. A significant morphological and crystallographic texture was identified as well as porosity. Three different sets of manufacturing parameters were tested to create variations in porosity and crystallography. The results show a clear single trend in the S-N diagram for each LMD printing parameters. Two types of crack initiation have been observed in our conditions: crack initiation at large sub-surface pores inherited from the LMD process, and crack initiation at grain boundaries. In both cases, a crystallographic crack propagation from the crack initiation site has been observed whatever the localisation and nature of the initiation site and without any apparent contribution of grain boundaries.
